In 2006 Kaia Chesney released her first five song EP entitled Springtime. After this release, Kaia focused on her musical endeavors with bands Nymphette (former members of Blues) and four-piece Kaia and the Nazarenes, which was later renamed ilamir. Kaia is still currently song-writing and performing in ilamir, and just recorded her first full-length solo album.

Along with Dominique A, singer/songwriter Philippe Katerine was among the leaders of the minimalist variete movement in French pop during the mid-1990s. Drawing on influences as diverse as Burt Bacharach and Michel Legrand to the Clash and the Buzzcocks. Katerine's latest work blends Kraftwerk-inspired electronica with more dance-party inspired material peddled by acts like LCD Soundsystem. Very cool stuff indeed!
